At the host stand
The host reads the complete script aloud and checks the box only after the guest agrees. Each visit needs fresh permission. The guest receives their party size and quoted wait, then a table-ready text. Y confirms the details. LEAVE removes the party immediately; N, NO, STOP, and CANCEL only stop texts and keep the party in line.

Pickup checkout
The guest enters their name and mobile number, reads the disclosure, and actively checks the box before requesting a code. The checkbox starts unchecked and is never saved in browser storage. The first code message confirms enrollment for pickup updates.

Restaurant alert enrollment
The owner reads the disclosure to the recipient and records their agreement. The recipient receives a code and must verify control of the handset before recurring alerts begin.

The recipient will get a verification code now, then alerts only when a business day is not closed on time, a close changes after sign-off, or labor runs above the threshold you set.
